The Bug-type is such a great offensive STAB. It's SE against Psychic and Dark types, and yet, there are barely any Pokés that are strong enough to utilize that STAB. So many fragile candidates, but there are enough to scrape together a good squad, at least I think.

In Gen I, the Fighting type was basically Alakazam fodder. Since every Ash and his Delia had one of those Psychic destroyers on their team (or if legendaries were allowed, the Broken One himself), it was pretty useless to train a Fighter. You saw the Grass-type team, now let me try my hand at a Fire-type squadron. A little more limited in what it can do, but Fire's still a boss type to work with. Once again, haven't raised these Pokés yet, but it's how I'm going to:
